Shipping company WEC Lines has launched a new container service called ISS-PT, strengthening the port of Nador's position in regional and international maritime transport.
The service links the Moroccan port to Spanish ports including Valencia, Alicante, Cartagena, Almería, Málaga and Cádiz, as well as Setúbal and Sines in Portugal, with onward connections to Antwerp, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Liverpool and Dublin.
It uses two vessels of 868 TEU each on a 14-day cycle with weekly sailings.
The offer includes 40- and 45-foot reefer containers and High Cube Pallet Wide units, with a transit time of about three days between Nador and Setúbal.
