The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) leads the provisional results of the legislative elections in Nador province after about 60 percent of votes were counted, local authorities said.
Led by list head Mohamed Mounir, PAM has 7,503 votes, ahead by 2,975 over the National Rally of Independents (RNI), second with 4,528.
The Socialist Union of Popular Forces is third with 4,430, followed by the Constitutional Union (4,392), the PJD (4,301), the Popular Movement (3,368) and Istiqlal (3,300).
The left alliance won 1,006 votes.
Margins among the top six remain narrow as counting continues.
