Several ATMs belonging to three bank branches were vandalised on the road between Azghanghan and Jaadar, causing panic among passers-by.
Witnesses attribute the acts to a person with mental health issues who repeatedly damages these machines in the same way.
The area has seen similar incidents targeting other ATMs before.
Residents are calling on local authorities to intervene urgently and to place the person responsible in a specialised facility.
