The mausoleum of Sidi Mohamed Amziane in Azghanghan hosted a religious ceremony marking the 28th anniversary of the death of the late King Hassan II, chaired by the governor of Nador province, Jamal Chaarani, in the presence of officials and religious and civil figures.
The session opened with Quranic recitation, followed by prophetic praises with the participation of scholars, members of the local scientific council and representatives of the religious affairs sector.
A speaker reviewed milestones of the late monarch's journey and the institutional and development changes of his reign.
The ceremony concluded with prayers for King Mohammed VI, the crown prince and the royal family.
