The town of Beni Tayed in Driouch province hosted a campaign rally for the Authenticity and Modernity Party on Sunday evening, part of the run-up to the legislative elections set for 23 September.
Finance Minister Fouzi Lekjaa attended alongside party leaders and lawmakers, drawing a large crowd of supporters.
Speakers discussed the party's parliamentary record and its priorities, urging backing for candidate Aziz Meknif.
Lekjaa opened his address in Amazigh and tied the province's future to the Nador West Med port project, calling it a driver of investment and development.
He also raised the implementation of Amazigh's official status.
The rally comes hours before the vote as rival lists step up campaigning.
