The General Directorate of National Security has announced the reinforcement of regional security in Nador with a tourist police unit and a regional intervention unit, marking the 27th anniversary of Throne Day.
The tourist police unit will secure tourism and hotel activities and support the city's momentum as a rising destination.
The regional intervention unit brings together highly qualified, intensively trained officers for rapid response to serious situations such as hostage-taking and armed attacks.
The move is part of a strategy to modernise police services and better protect citizens and their property.
