Nador marks 28th anniversary of Hassan II's death

A religious ceremony was held Monday evening at the mausoleum of Cherif Sidi Mohamed Amziane in Azghanghan to mark the 28th anniversary of the death of King Hassan II.
The event was chaired by the governor of Nador province, Jamal Chaarani, and attended by officials, representatives of security and civil services, the president of the local scientific council, the delegate of the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs and the nazir of Nador's habous, along with scholars and religious figures.
The ceremony opened with Quran recitation and continued with religious chants and invocations in a spiritual atmosphere.
A member of the local scientific council reviewed the late monarch's career and the major milestones of his reign.
It concluded with prayers for King Mohammed VI and a tribute to Hassan II and Mohammed V.
