The Nador provincial directorate of the Regional Multiservice Company – East has stepped up its preparations for the rainy season with a preventive approach aimed at protecting infrastructure and limiting flood risks.
A meeting was chaired by provincial director Mokhtar Jbari, attended by managers, technicians and staff of the liquid sanitation operations department and commercial agencies.
Broad outlines of action programmes were set, focusing on preventive maintenance of sanitation networks and facilities and on identifying priority black spots requiring early intervention.
Talks also covered boosting the readiness of teams and resources and practical arrangements for timely field operations.
The aim is to prioritise prevention and anticipation rather than waiting for problems to arise, by scheduling maintenance according to priorities.
