The Ministry of Higher Education has launched a tender for the expansion of the multidisciplinary faculty in Selouane, part of Mohammed Premier University in Oujda, with a budget of around 55 million dirhams.
The project aims to ease growing pressure on the institution, which hosts nearly 21,000 students.
Last February, the minister presented details of the project, which includes the construction of lecture halls, laboratories, facilities and additional classrooms.
Two institutions attached to the faculty are also planned: the Higher School of Technology and an engineering school, each with an estimated budget of 60 million dirhams.
