Mohammadi Touhtouh, lead candidate of the Istiqlal Party in the Nador constituency, is running a field campaign that has reached several markets, neighbourhoods, villages and communes across the province.
He travelled between Zaio, Arkmane, Azghanghane, Al Aaroui, Bni Chiker and Bouarg, meeting traders, professionals and residents alongside party activists.
Latifa Taybi, the regional list's lead candidate, took part in meetings in Zaio and its neighbourhoods.
Touhtouh points to his previous record as president of the Bouarg commune between 2015 and 2021 and then as an MP after the 2021 elections.
His priorities include employment, health, education and territorial fairness, as well as local benefit from the Nador West Med project, and he stresses that dialogue with citizens must continue after the campaign through follow-up and advocacy.
