Lekjaa in Nador: Achievements Belong to Morocco

At a party meeting in Nador, Fouzi Lekjaa, a member of the PAM's political bureau, said that completed projects and agreements belong to Morocco and should not serve as material for political boasting, since their value lies in their real impact on citizens' lives.
He placed young people high among the party's priorities through training, support, encouragement of entrepreneurship and easier access to a first home.
On social policy, he called for revising the criteria for aid eligibility based on households' real incomes, mentioning the possibility of raising some benefits from 500 to 1000 dirhams.
He also flagged problems in compulsory health insurance, where professional categories do not reflect people's actual situations, and argued that the state should cover contributions for those unable to pay.
He rejected reducing the social state to direct aid, stressing the need for a dignified health system, a qualifying school and effective policies on employment, training and housing.
