The criminal chamber of the first-instance court in Al Hoceima sentenced a defendant prosecuted for possession of and trafficking in hard drugs to six years in prison.
The court also imposed a fine of twenty thousand dirhams, with costs and coercive enforcement.
It ordered the destruction of the seized narcotics and the confiscation of the scale for the state property administration, along with the confiscation of a sum of money for the public treasury.
On the civil side, the defendant was ordered to pay 47,600 dirhams to the customs and indirect taxes administration.
