Coastal and artisanal fishing landings at Al Hoceima port fell 13% by the end of August 2026, reaching 1,526 tonnes against 1,699 tonnes a year earlier.
Commercial value dropped 15% to more than 84.67 million dirhams.
Pelagic fish declined 25% to 206 tonnes, while white fish rose 8% to 239 tonnes.
Molluscs fell 16% to 1,007 tonnes, while crustaceans rose 44% to 73 tonnes.
Nationally, landings reached 723,490 tonnes, up 6%, with a value exceeding 7.43 billion dirhams.
