The election campaign in the Nador constituency is entering its final phase ahead of the September 23 vote, with 17 lists competing for four parliamentary seats.
Attention is focused on seven figures, including Halim Foutat for the National Rally of Independents, Mohamed El Mouni for Authenticity and Modernity, Mohamed Abarkan for the Socialist Union, Mohamadi Touhtouh for Istiqlal, Mohamed Boudou for the Popular Movement, Mohamed Sadiki for the PJD and Abdelkader Akoudad for the Constitutional Union.
Foutat, mayor of Bni Ansar, leads the RNI list after Touhtouh's nomination, who topped the 2021 results, was not renewed.
El Mouni, mayor of Tiztoutine, heads the PAM list succeeding Rafik Majait.
Abarkan seeks continuity after his 2021 victory, while Touhtouh now runs under the Istiqlal banner.
