Morocco reshapes its infrastructure ahead of 2030

Morocco is carrying out major works reshaping its infrastructure ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup.
The Hassan II stadium in Benslimane, spanning 100 hectares with 115,000 seats and a budget of 5 billion dirhams, is about 40 percent complete.
On the Mediterranean coast, the Nador West Med port is preparing to enter service, with an initial capacity of 3 million containers and the arrival of giant cranes.
The motorway linking Driouch to the port is over 95 percent complete.
In the south, the Atlantic port of Dakhla reaches 62 percent for 12.6 billion dirhams.
By rail, ONCF plans 96 billion dirhams, including the Kenitra-Marrakech high-speed line and 168 new trains.
