About 23 women injured in bus accident in Driouch

A passenger bus overturned on Sunday night in the Tazaghine commune, Driouch province, injuring about 23 women, some seriously.
The bus was operating the route between Al Hoceima and Berkane, and the driver lost control of the vehicle, according to local sources.
The injured were rushed to the provincial hospital in Driouch, with injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
The driver attributed the accident to an attempt to avoid a cat crossing the road, causing the bus to veer off and overturn.
The competent authorities opened an investigation, under the supervision of the public prosecutor's office, to determine the real causes, while the royal gendarmerie conducted inspections.
