PAM selects Aziz Meknif as head of list in Driouch

The central leadership of the Authenticity and Modernity Party has decided on the name of the head of list for the electoral constituency of Driouch province, ahead of the legislative elections scheduled for September 23, by choosing Aziz Meknif to succeed MP Younes Ouchen.
Informed sources indicate that the leadership has settled on this candidacy without revealing the criteria used.
Media sources attempted to contact Ouchen to learn his position, but he did not respond.
The official announcement of Meknif's candidacy is expected in the coming days at a party meeting.
According to a leading source, this candidacy allowed the party to complete its coverage of constituencies in the Oriental region at 100%, without revealing the name of the regional list head.
In other constituencies in the region, the party chose Mohamed Mounini in Nador, Mohamed Ibrahimi in Berkane, Abdelkader El Hadouri in Oujda-Angad, Redouane Bouktaïa in Jerada, Mohamed Bernichi in Guercif, Hamid Chaya in Figuig, and Abderrahmane Sahli in Taourirt.
These candidacies are part of preparations for the legislative elections.
