Moroccan authorities arrested on Tuesday in Salé a man known as «Moussa Felkoun», wanted in dozens of cases linked to hard drug trafficking, human trafficking and score-settling.
The operation followed precise intelligence that located his hideout, with the participation of territorial surveillance units.
The suspect had fled after a judicial inquiry was opened into criminal acts during a wedding held in Azghanghan last August.
According to the national wanted-persons database, he is sought in 51 cases handled by police and the royal gendarmerie.
Prosecutors ordered his custody to deepen the investigation and establish possible links to networks of irregular migration and drug trafficking.
