Two earthquakes of magnitude 4.7 and 4.3 strike Driouch province
The National Institute of Geophysics recorded two earthquakes on Thursday morning in Driouch province, northeastern Morocco.
The first, with a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale, occurred at 3:52:52 a.m., with its epicenter in the commune of Troukout at a depth of 14 km, at the intersection of 35.136° north latitude and 3.815° west longitude.
The second, magnitude 4.3, followed at 3:57:41 a.m.
at a depth of 11 km, at the intersection of 35.103° north latitude and 3.826° west longitude.
The national seismic monitoring and alert network is tracking activity in the area.
