At a party meeting in Guercif province, Budget Minister Faouzi Lekjaa proposed linking the region to the Mediterranean economic axis through the Nador West Med port.
He announced a motorway project connecting Guercif to the axis leading to Nador, to ease the movement of people and goods.
He also placed healthcare among the priorities, calling for a stronger care offer.
On water, he outlined two tracks: developing hill dams and studying a link to Nador's desalination plant.
He urged residents to take part in the legislative elections set for 23 September.
