At a party meeting in Guercif, Fouzi Lekjaa, minister delegate for the Budget and a PAM figure, presented proposals for the province's development, notably improving links to the Mediterranean coast and the Nador West Med port.
He argued that opening Guercif to this axis could attract new investment and bring the province closer to major economic centres.
He announced a highway connecting Guercif to the Mediterranean corridor toward Nador to ease the movement of people and goods.
On health, he stressed better infrastructure, and on water he proposed hill dams and studying a connection to Nador's desalination plant, urging residents to vote on 23 September.
