AMDH denounces urban chaos in Azghanghan

The Nador provincial branch of the Moroccan Human Rights Association is following with deep concern the deterioration in Azghanghan, blaming persistent disorder and poor local governance.
In a statement, it denounces the systematic occupation of public space, with sidewalks and squares seized by private activities, endangering pedestrians.
It also criticises pollution and foul odours caused by poor waste management, and a selective application of the law marked by favouritism.
The association warns of the impact on lawful trade and the local economy, and urges provincial authorities to open an impartial investigation and free up public space, while reserving the right to legitimate protest action.
