The working-class neighbourhood association for development and the environment in Azghang, in partnership with Friends of the Environment, organised an awareness campaign on cleanliness and the preservation of the Gourougou mountain forest, as part of the national cleanliness campaign.
Activities began at the association's headquarters before moving to the forest, where participants carried out waste collection and awareness work.
The company Casa Technique supported the initiative by providing labour and a truck to facilitate waste collection and transport.
The campaign adopted the slogan 'Be clean, live happy', urging people to make cleanliness a daily habit.
Organisers called on visitors to the forest to respect the site and not leave waste behind, stressing that its protection is a collective responsibility.
