The Nador province branch of the Moroccan Human Rights Organisation has called on elected officials and competent authorities to intervene urgently to address what it describes as a "black spot" on the main road in Azghanghan, opposite the Jaadar petrol station, after a fatal crash that killed a motorcyclist.
The statement demands the repair and expansion of the public lighting network, especially towards the Road of Unity, the provision of road signs, the creation of pedestrian crossings and the installation of a speed radar.
The organisation also stressed the legal and moral responsibility of the institutions concerned in rehabilitating road infrastructure and urged road users to exercise caution.
