Fatal Jaadar Crash Revives Road Safety Debate in Azghanghan
The death of a motorcyclist in Jaadar, near Azghanghan, has reopened the debate over the dangers of the main road in the area.
The Nador branch of the Moroccan Human Rights Organisation is calling for better lighting, additional road signs, pedestrian crossings and a speed radar, describing the spot opposite the petrol station as a "black point".
The recent record includes a collision between four cars that injured three people, one of them a child, while the road linking Azghanghan and Nador has seen similar accidents that had already prompted earlier calls for improved safety.
The question remains what has actually changed from one accident to the next.
