Officers of the anti-gang unit in Rabat, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, arrested the drug baron known as "Moussa Felkoun" in the city of Salé.
The suspect was wanted in 51 cases linked to hard drug trafficking, human trafficking, threats with a firearm and membership of a criminal network.
His name had been linked to a wedding held in Azghanghan last August, which was marked by criminal acts that prompted him to flee.
He has been placed in custody to deepen the investigation into the acts attributed to him and to determine his possible links to networks of illegal immigration and drug trafficking.
