Prosecutors at the Nador court of first instance have ordered the detention of the first deputy mayor of the Azghanghan municipality in a corruption case.
According to available information, the complainant says the official demanded ten thousand dirhams in return for helping him obtain an administrative certificate.
The suspect was caught in the act.
Prosecutors responded quickly to the complaint, filed on the same day as the arrest, and the investigation continues under their supervision.
