The mausoleum of Cherif Mohamed Ameziane in Azghanghan, in Nador province, received a royal donation as part of preparations to mark the anniversary of the death of the late King Hassan II.
A commission made up of a delegation of figures oversaw the handover of the donation to the mausoleum's custodians, one of the region's most prominent historical symbols.
The meeting was attended by the delegate of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the province, the secretary-general of the provincial council, the president of the Azghanghan municipal council, and local and security authorities.
The Fatiha was recited for the soul of resistance fighter Mohamed Ameziane, with prayers for the late kings Mohammed V and Hassan II and for King Mohammed VI and the crown prince.
