New Selouane Hospital Set to Receive First Patient in April

Construction of the new hospital centre in the commune of Selouane, Nador province, has reached its final stage with completion at around 98 %.
A field visit by provincial governor Jamal Chaarani, accompanied by health officials and the commune's president, confirmed the accelerated pace of the works.
The hospital is expected to receive its first patient in April, after a few minor technical issues are resolved.
The facility will include surgery, general medicine, mother-and-child care, emergency, intensive care, a surgical complex, medical imaging, a laboratory, outpatient clinics, a day hospital and dental services.
Built on nearly 161,000 square metres with 250 beds and a budget of 560 million dirhams, it ranks among the largest health projects in the Oriental region, aimed at easing pressure on nearby hospitals and bringing advanced care closer to residents.
