According to corroborating information, the head of the Azghanghan area near Nador, along with the head of the judicial police, the head of the general intelligence service and several security officials, have been dismissed after live gunfire during a wedding celebration in the area.
A special unit of the Royal Gendarmerie was dispatched to investigate the incident, which was celebrated by a well-known local figure wanted under more than one hundred national and local search warrants for drug trafficking and organising clandestine migration.
Investigations into responsibilities and circumstances are ongoing.
