Residents of Azghanghan, near Nador, turned out in large numbers for the funeral of the late Meziani, attended by relatives, friends and local figures.
The funeral procession moved through the streets of the town before burial at the Azghanghan cemetery.
Mourners expressed their sorrow at the loss of a respected figure in the area, praising his qualities and his record.
