Dozens of students from Azghanghan, Aaroui, Zaio and Nador held a sit-in at Liberation Square before marching to the Nador prefecture to highlight transport difficulties to the Salouane faculty.
A delegation was received by the governor, who promised a solution within weeks.
The students are demanding a dedicated bus, a project stalled because the Azghanghan municipality failed to pay its 600,000-dirham share, while the National Human Development Initiative contributed a similar amount.
They agreed to wait two to three weeks before resuming their protest.
