Student assaults teacher at Selouane secondary school

A teacher at the Selouane secondary school, under the provincial education directorate of Nador, was assaulted by one of his students, who insulted him and threatened to attack him in front of students and staff.
According to teaching unions, the student was in a hysterical state and attacked the teacher in his classroom before trying to assault him at the school gate.
The unions condemned the incident and announced a gathering at the school in solidarity with the victim, holding the provincial directorate responsible for taking measures to deter behaviour that threatens educational staff.
