Unidentified body found near Selouane cemetery

Royal Gendarmerie officers have opened an investigation after an unidentified body was found near the Sidi Ali cemetery in the commune of Selouane, in Nador province.
According to preliminary information, a foul smell led passers-by to discover the body, which was in an advanced state of decomposition.
After an on-site examination, the remains were taken to the morgue pending a medical autopsy to determine the cause of death.
The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, while the victim's identity and the circumstances remain unknown.
