The provincial director of national education, preschool and sports in Al Hoceima is continuing field visits to accompany the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
A new tour took him to seven schools in the province.
The visits on Thursday 10 September covered the middle schools Sidi Abed, Mohamed Tarchouchi, An-Nasr, Hay Arrabe and Al-Qods, as well as the primary schools Abi Talib and Oum Al Banine, some of which are part of the 'pioneer schools' project and others not.
The aim was to monitor regular attendance of classes, the holding and processing of placement tests, progress in rolling out the project, rehabilitation and equipment works, pupil attendance and the distribution of intensive support booklets.
The director listened to administrative and teaching staff about needs and obstacles, stressing the importance of collective mobilisation for the success of the education reform.
