The king's prosecutor general at the Al Hoceima Court of Appeal ordered two people to be placed in detention at the local prison in connection with the armed confrontation in Imzouren.
The suspects face charges of attempted theft and tampering with the crime scene, after exploiting the security alert that followed the confrontation between security forces and a nationally wanted individual.
According to available information, the two scattered the contents of a vehicle at the scene.
They were arrested as part of widened investigations supervised by the prosecutor's office, after it emerged that others tried to intervene to free the main suspect, requiring a security cordon and field search operations.
