Businessman Ismail Chennouf, a member of the National Council of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) and from the Amtalsa tribe in Driouch province, has announced his resignation from the party and all its central, local and parallel structures and organisations.
He sent an official letter to the party president informing him of the end of his membership as of the date of his resignation, with a copy to the governor of Driouch province and to the party's regional coordinator in the Oriental region.
Contacted by phone, Chennouf confirmed the news, stating that his decision was based on personal reasons, without giving further details about his motives.
