The port of Al Hoceima has recorded significant passenger movement towards Spain over the past 48 hours, with about 2,000 passengers and nearly 500 cars departing for the Spanish port of Motril aboard a ship of the company Armas.
These figures reflect the dynamism of the sea route linking Al Hoceima to Motril, especially during the summer vacation period, which usually sees a notable increase in traffic of members of the Moroccan diaspora and travelers between the two shores of the Mediterranean.
The port continues to receive and dispatch crossings at an increasing pace, due to the high demand for this route which constitutes one of the important links between northern Morocco and southern Spain.
This movement takes place in a summer marked by an increase in traffic in Moroccan ports, with the return of diaspora members and travelers to their countries of residence after spending their holidays in Morocco.
