Morocco's National Institute of Geophysics announced the recording of an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter scale on Friday morning in Driouch province.
The National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network clarified that the quake, whose epicenter was located off the coast of Driouch province, occurred at 6:54:56 GMT.
The quake was recorded at a depth of 6 kilometers, at latitude 35.627 degrees north and longitude 3.563 degrees west.
There was no information about material or human damage.
