The first day of filing candidacies for the legislative elections scheduled for September 23 in the province of Nador saw five files submitted via the dedicated electronic platform.
The candidates are Mohammed Mounni of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, Halim Foutat of the National Rally of Independents, Mohammed Boudou of the Popular Movement, Hakim Chamlal of the Unified Socialist Party, and Mahammadi Touhtouh of the Istiqlal Party.
This launch marks the first practical step of the electoral process, with more names expected in the coming days.
The final number of candidacies remains tied to the expiration of legal deadlines and the completion of review procedures by the competent authorities.
