Nador celebrates first Moroccan handball championship title

Many residents of Nador came out to celebrate the victory of the Hilal Nador handball team in the Moroccan championship for the first time in its history.
Residents reacted to a parade led by a truck carrying the team and players with the cup, driving through the main streets of the city amid massive celebrations.
A ceremony of honor was held in the covered sports hall with a wide audience and civil and elected actors.
Suleiman Azouagh, honorary president of the team, praised this historic achievement, stating that the team will represent Morocco in African competitions, calling for support to continue the adventure.
The team defeated Tetouan Students 29-22 in the final, after a draw against Royal Army and a victory against Rajaa Agadir in the play-off.
