The governor of Al Hoceima province chaired, on Monday, August 10, at the provincial headquarters, an activity on the occasion of the National Day of Moroccans Residing Abroad, celebrated every year on August 10, under the theme 'Moroccans Residing Abroad in Service of Morocco's 2030 Projects'.
The meeting brought together representatives of external services, local authorities, elected officials, and members of the diaspora.
In his speech, the governor stressed that this occasion reflects royal care for the diaspora, adding that this year's theme is linked to Morocco's preparations for the 2030 World Cup, the continued implementation of the new development model, and the strengthening of digitalization and advanced regionalization.
He also mentioned that the provincial cell for the affairs of Moroccans residing abroad continues its work throughout the year to facilitate their access to services.
This day is of particular importance to Al Hoceima province due to the close ties between many residents and the diaspora.
