The House of Poetry in Tetouan, in coordination with the provincial directorate of culture in Al Hoceima, organizes the eighth edition of the 'Bihour Al-Chi'r' gathering from July 30 to August 1, 2026, at Cala Bonita beach.
The event aims to bring poetry closer to the public in open spaces, featuring a tribute to poet Hicham El Amraoui, poetry readings, cultural meetings, children's workshops, and musical performances.
Poets such as Abdellah Dada Ghazoui, Driss Allouch, and Abdel Samad Ajouaou participate in the evenings, and on the final day, Saïd Abbouti, Souad Boulhia, and Boujemaa Krik.
A meeting is also dedicated to the experience of Moroccan poets abroad.
This edition is part of a series of events held in other Moroccan coastal cities to strengthen the presence of poetry in the public sphere.
