The regional director of the Ministry of National Education in Al Hoceima held an orientation meeting on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, with educational guidance staff, in the presence of department heads, dedicated to preparing for the new school year.
The meeting focused on implementing the roadmap projects for reforming the education system and strengthening the role of guidance services in supporting learners and helping them choose suitable academic paths.
Mechanisms for monitoring the start of the school year and combating school dropout were also discussed, through intensified monitoring, tracking student absences, and activating vigilance cells in institutions, with special attention to struggling students.
The 'pioneering schools and middle schools' project was discussed, along with the generalization of educational support activities.
In conclusion, the director stressed the mobilization of human resources to ensure a successful school start, and regional committees will conduct field visits starting September 7.
