Nador: Jail Term and Fine for Attempted Illegal Migration by Jet Ski

The Nador Court of First Instance has sentenced an individual to two months in prison and a fine of 3,000 dirhams for organizing and facilitating the clandestine departure of Moroccans outside the national territory.
The court also ordered the confiscation of the jet ski seized in the case in favor of the State Property Administration.
The conviction comes as part of authorities' efforts to combat migrant smuggling networks active in the region.
