Meeting at the provincial authority to address decline in cleanliness services in Nador

The provincial authority in Nador held an expanded meeting to assess the state of the cleanliness sector, following increased complaints from residents about waste accumulation and delayed collection in several neighborhoods.
The meeting was attended by territorial and administrative officials, the president of the inter-municipal cooperation “Nador El Kebira”, the general manager of “Casa Technique”, and local officials from the delegated company.
The provincial authority stressed the importance of cleanliness as an essential service linked to public health and the city's aesthetics, and noted with concern the noticeable decline in services, demanding urgent intervention.
It also emphasized the need to strengthen human resources, repair broken equipment, provide additional containers, and adopt a more effective field approach.
In preparation for Eid al-Adha and the summer season, the authority called for an emergency program to cope with the expected pressure, obliging the company to present a detailed action plan within a week.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of daily monitoring of field interventions and continuing dialogue with unions to improve workers' conditions.
