Chinese company invests 2 billion dirhams in copper alloy plant in Nador
The provincial authorities of Nador received a delegation from the Chinese industrial group BOWAY to discuss the progress of the BOWAY ALLOY project in the Bétouya industrial zone, part of the Nador West Med complex.
The project aims to create an industrial unit for the production of copper alloys with an investment of over 2 billion dirhams, on an area of 20 hectares, with a production capacity of 50,000 tons per year and more than 600 direct jobs.
The authorities affirmed the mobilization of all services to support the project and accelerate its implementation, with emphasis on vocational training and technical qualification to prepare local skills, and giving priority to young people from the region and the Oriental to benefit from employment opportunities.
They also stressed the importance of involving local and regional companies in the economic dynamic.
Founded in 1993, the BOWAY group has an industrial presence in China, Vietnam, Germany, Canada and the United States, and operates in non-ferrous materials, new energies and photovoltaic modules.
This investment reflects the growing confidence in the Nador West Med complex as a promising economic hub capable of integrating into industrial and technological value chains at national and international level.
