The municipal council of Nador held its ordinary session on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, chaired by Suleiman Azouagh, with council members and staff present.
Members unanimously approved the agenda items, including programming the 2025 surplus, purchasing machinery and equipment for spraying and insect control, approving partnership agreements with territorial communities and social action associations, amending the delegated supervision agreement for building the morgue and forensic medicine center, and the specifications for operating the 'Nador Corniche', as well as points on support and partnership with civil society.
The council decided to postpone the item on support for associations to a forthcoming extraordinary session to deepen discussion and ensure transparency.
The session featured a responsible debate among the components, emphasizing the continuation of development projects and improving services for residents.
