Nador Scientific Council holds 5th Quranic festival for women memorizers

The local Scientific Council of Nador province, in coordination with the provincial delegation of Islamic Affairs, organized the fifth edition of the Quranic festival for women memorizers on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the administrative and cultural complex in Nador, under the theme 'Woman and the Quran: a message of construction and preserved dignity'.
The program began with a march from Mohammed VI Mosque, followed by a collective Quran recitation, the national anthem, and speeches by officials.
The festival included religious chants, a talk by student Manar Hakouni, a presentation titled 'We are the girls of the Quran', a play 'The Call of the Quran', a reflection on a verse with images, and a chant 'Light upon Light'.
It concluded with honoring the memorizers and contributors, and a prayer session for the Prophet.
President Maimoun Bressoul stressed that the festival strengthens women's presence in the religious sphere and encourages girls to memorize the Quran.
