Africa Morocco Link has announced the success of its first technical and experimental crossing on the new maritime route linking Nador to Almería, a step ahead of its official launch planned for the summer season.
This operation is part of the preparations for Operation Marhaba, with in-depth technical tests conducted at Nador port.
Among the vessels involved is the Stena Europe ferry, with a capacity of 1,500 passengers and 400 vehicles.
According to the provisional schedule for July and August, crossings will depart from Almería at 11:00 PM to arrive in Nador around 5:00 AM.
From late August, rotations will also be operated from Nador at 11:00 PM.
This new link adds value by strengthening logistical connectivity and improving the travel experience, especially during the summer peak, consolidating Morocco's position as a strategic hub between Europe and Africa.
